11. Audio Visual Collection

11.1 Borrowing Hours :

Monday - Friday : 8.00am - 8.30pm
Saturday             : 8.00am - 12.45pm

Audio-Visual materials available in the Library include:

CD-ROMS and Diskettes
Only lecturers are allowed to borrow items from this collection if the items are supplementary to the textbooks borrowed by them. The duration of loan for these items is 14 days. Other users may use these items only in the multimedia section. These materials are available from the multimedia counter upon request by the library users.

Video Cassettes
Lecturers are allowed to borrow only 3 videocassettes at a time. The duration of loan for these items is 14 days. Students may borrow the video cassettes upon presentation of their students ID for viewing purposes only in the library viewing room.

Audio Cassettes
This collection is available only for lecturers as part of their teaching materials. The duration of loan for these items is 14 days. Students are permitted to borrow audio cassettes for listening only in the library audio video room upon presentation of their students ID

NOTE : Videos can be damaged if left in a hot or damp place. PLEASE do not expose them to direct sunlight or leave them in a parked car.
